SOUND CONFIGURATIONS:

To configure your Mustang for the sound you want, when you want it, xMOD Mustang GT provides all the components in the box to achieve distinct sound character changes in combination with 4 total sound levels: Stealth, Street, Competition, or Race. With a MagnaFlow xMOD Series premium performance exhaust system, you choose just how wild or mild you want to be: enjoy track day sound with xMOD xTreme Deletes, or a deep aggressive street sound with xMOD Muffler Modules.

STEALTH - Smooth-tuned note crafted for maximum sound suppression, while supporting more airflow for additional power-adders.

STREET - Aggressive and throaty growl mixed with chambered exhaust tones for a street performance sound.

COMPETITION – Rich. Deep. Powerful. The distinctive MagnaFlow performance tone designed for balanced street performance.

RACE - Straight-pipe sounds inside and out, with the rasp and pop reminiscent of chambered exhausts.

xMOD ‘s configurable sound is made possible with:

1. Mustang GT xMOD TRU-X Muffler Module: MagnaFlow's proven straight-through design 4”x 9” Oval Tru-x core muffler, now featuring race bred quick release v-band clamps for quick installation and removal for when you want that race car sound instead of the deep, aggressive signature MagnaFlow exhaust note.
2. Mustang GT xMOD TRU-X xTreme Delete: also equipped with v-band clamps, allowing for easy removal of the muffler module for that xMOD xTreme sound experience. PLEASE NOTE: While xMOD systems are 100% emissions legal, the use of xTreme Deletes creates sound levels recommended for track use only. Check local noise regulations for street legality.
3. Mustang GT xMOD xTreme Bypass Valve Delete: for applications that do not have the Ford factory-equipped Active Exhaust system, or for those who desire to bypass the computer control of the active system in favor of manual control, the xTreme Bypass Valve Delete provides a means to bypass the rear muffler module or route the exhaust through the rear muffler assemblies. Make quick changes in sound levels without jacking up the car, while using only an 11mm wrench.
   
   

ADDITIONAL MUSTANG GT FEATURES:

• Performance Gains: The Mustang xMOD system provides power gains over stock of up to 16-18 HP and 15-16 lb-ft of torque on a stock calibration.

• Weight Reduction: The Mustang xMOD system in its lightest configuration shaves about 3lbs off of a stock Active Exhaust system. In its heaviest configuration (with valves and front Muffler Module installed), the system is about 4 lbs. heavier than stock.

• Retains Active Exhaust Functionality: The Mustang xMOD system retains the Ford Active Exhaust valve functionality for vehicles originally equipped with the valves and actuators from the factory.

• Header Connection Pipes included: For owners looking for aftermarket header compatibility, a 3” connection pipe adapter and clamps are provided to simplify installation.
